When it comes to the hot tubs and exercise pools manufactured by Tropic Seas Spas, all hot tubs, except for the Tonga and Tropic Pool, can be upgraded from standard to elite. Elite models have better filtration, offer more color options for the acrylic tub, and have better insulation for increased energy savings!
FULL FOAM
The icynene foam used in the Full Foam upgrade conserves energy, adds structural integrity, and increases the shell’s life. Since it is a spray-in foam, it also helps to secure the internal plumbing.

When it comes to the life span of your Tropic Seas Hot Tub, a quality cover can go a long way. Not only do they keep the water from getting polluted during severe weather, but it also keeps out unwanted pests that may be looking to build a new home inside of your tub. The weather guard covers offered by Tropic weigh 25% less than standard covers while providing better protection. This superior level of function and protection is accomplished by using a woven pattern of polyester fibers rather than vinyl. In addition, the stitching process used in the weaving makes Tropic covers two times stronger at the seams, leading to higher durability and longer life. Finally, these covers utilize a urethane backing to protect against moisture build-up while providing better resistance to tears and abrasions.

As elegant and organic as the tubs in Tropic’s hot tubs appear, most are surprised to discover that their design and production uses no special software or computers. Instead, each mold is created by hand using tools like chisels and sanding blocks, resulting in a far more artistic and organic design than most other hot tubs on the market. After getting your new hot tub installed, the last thing you want is to discover it doesn’t work as designed or has a leak coming from somewhere. Thankfully, every Tropic Seas Spas hot tub comes with a warranty that features lifetime and term coverage for their hot tubs.
LIFETIME STRUCTURAL COVERAGE
Tropic models with full foam insulation come with a lifetime warranty on the structure of the fiberglass vessel that sits below the exposed finish of the hot tub. If a defect exists in the material that leads to water loss, then the structure will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion.
TERM COVERAGES
Term coverages offered by Tropic Seas Spas range from 1-5 years and start from the date of delivery to your home or 18 months from the date of manufacturing, whichever comes first.
3 YEAR ELECTRICAL
The exposed acrylic finish of the tubs used in Tropic hot tubs is covered against material defects that result in blistering, cracking, or delaminating.
3 YEAR PLUMBING
The plumbing covered by this warranty includes the piping, jet & valve bodies, and air controls. These components are covered from material defects and not from normal wear during use.
1 YEAR CABINET
The cabinet is the outer shell that encases the hot tub’s internal structure.
